Both our 3 year old and 4 year old class are unique for different reasons and the class
goals build on each other.  We are excited that we offer a great program for both
classes and worked hard to develop a curriculum that is effective.  We are proud to
offer an amazing reading program that begins with concepts in our 3 year old class
and continues into our 4 year old program.  Many of our students, with your great
parental support, are reading before Kindergarten.

If you would like to enroll your child in either of our classes, please contact as soon
as possible to secure the spot.  We look forward to working with you and your
child/children.

Reading Program

At Learning Time Preschool we have developed a successful reading program.  We teach using a customized leveled reading program.  Our goal is for every child to make progress at their own pace and ability. At Learning Time Preschool we use a variety of letter and sound recognition games, activities, songs, and books to keep their interest and make learning fun!  Our four year old class will be reading from their very own Bob Books both at home and school. By working as a team, kids will be reviewing more frequently the letters and sounds they are being taught in class.

It Is Nice To Meet You

Miss Tausha

I grew up in Pleasant Grove, Utah and we have lived in Daybreak for almost four years now. I am married to my best friend Cory and we have five children ranging from our oldest son who graduated high school last year to our "baby" who is in preschool. When its warm we love the outdoors! We spend our summers camping and picnicking in the mountains around campfires. We also love board games and spending time in Park City at timeshares.
When I have free time I love to read. The best gift my mom gave to me was my love for reading...she taught me to read when I was three and I've loved to ever since!

I went back to school as an adult and graduated from The University of Phoenix with a Bachelors Degree in Human Services and a minor in Business Management. Most of my job history has been is education. Before I moved to Daybreak I owned a preschool out in Eagle Mountain for four years and had the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing people I've ever met!! Before that I worked at Pony Express Elementary, Highland Elementar and The Ranches Academy in various teaching positions. While living in Eagle Mountain I also had the privilege of serving on the school board at The Ranches Academy for two years. I LOVE teaching and seeing my students develop my passion for reading!! It has been a blessing working with Emily and I look forward to teaching our students how fun reading and learning can be!!

Miss Emily

I was born and raised in Idaho Falls, Idaho.  I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Heath, for 15 years.  Heath and I have 4 children; Taylee, Tydon, Kamdon, and Kyler.  As a family we enjoy traveling, being with family, spending time at the pool, four wheeling and riding motorcycles, and being at the cabin in Island Park, Idaho.

I graduated from Ricks College before going to work to support my husband through mortuary school.  I love teaching children and have spent many years in different auxiliaries working with children of all ages and spent 2 years organizing and teaching in a preschool co-op in Meridian, Idaho. Tausha and I decided to start teaching together in 2011 and started Learning Time Preschool in Daybreak.  Tausha and I make a great team and have enjoyed teaching for the last three years together. Learning Time Preschool has been a great path for me and my family.  I love your children and enjoy seeing them grow.  In the upcoming year, I am excited to make learning come alive for your child through fun projects and activities.
